Group Conditioning Classes

Our outdoor conditioning classes are 45 minutes in length and incorporate a warm-up, and could include high-intensity interval training (HIIT), Tabata training, gymnastics, calisthenics, and other disciplines, as well as a period of individual or group stretching

Our classes will combine aspects of cardiovascular conditioning, strength, and flexibility, and will include the basics of human movement – pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, climbing, crawling, hopping, running, and rotating.  Our classes are led by experienced coaches, and participants are always under their watchful eye for optimal safety.

marjenaandwayneEach class is different. Some days you will squat, other days you will run. Some days you will do both. We create workouts using a host of activities in various combinations. We use medicine balls, kettlebells, and a bunch of other tools. We run for various distances, usually in combination with other activities. Some days the workout includes two or three exercises, and sometimes a lot more. We design our classes to provide a fun workout that provides each participant a challenge at their own level of fitness.

We want you to improve your fitness in every way and constantly changing the exercises will challenge your level of strength, speed, agility, endurance, power, coordination, and flexibility.

todd rowingOur program works, not just for the uber athlete, but also for people of all ages, shapes, sizes, and fitness levels. Many people get intimidated because they think it’s going to be so difficult and they will not be able to participate. We are very welcoming, very accepting, and very nonjudgmental.

As we age it’s important to use all of our joints regularly and group fitness classes is a great way to do it. If you don’t use them, they get stiff and achy. We also naturally lose muscle mass which causes our metabolism to slow down. Weight-bearing exercise revs up your metabolism and keeps it burning for many hours post workout.

It is our goal to maximize your ability to move and become more functional in your day-to-day activities.  The functional movements make you strong and less likely to throw your back picking up the laundry basket or shovelling snow.

At all levels, we want you to stay active and remain injury free. We are here to make your life better, and we look forward to welcoming you to our extended family.  Don’t get in shape first, come to us, and let our program do its wonders on you.
